Tune in Tonight!

So, if you've never heard me talk about my mentor, Latasha Kennedy, I don't know where you've been. She's amazing and has been such a lifeline for me as I've journeyed through this whole MaineDrama process.

Latasha is an actor, writer, and philanthropist based in New York (the actor's mecca).  She's also a wife and mother..trying to balance it all.  And she's not the only actor I know that mirrors that same background.

Tonight she will be a panelist on a web talk show called Celi's Hangout, an interactive web talk show dedicated to empowering artists and hosted by Franceli Chapman.  If you don't have anything planned, tune in!

The episode tonight is called, Working Parents: The Actor's Grind.  They will be discussing with other moms and dads in entertainment how they balance parenting and their acting careers.

The show airs live TONIGHT at 7:30pm via Google Hangout through Google + & YouTube.

Logistics:
In order to view the interview, you must join the CASTING ACTORS OF COLOR GOOGLE PLUS CIRCLE. You may kindly do so by clicking HERE.  You can also access the hangout via the Google+ Hangouts App on your smartphone.

Once you join, you'll be able to watch the interview live as well as submit questions to the panelists, including me!  If you're on Facebook or Twitter, please share and RT! Her social media info is below.

It should be an interesting time!

Looking for a Few Good Women!

MDP is working on our next project and we want you to be involved. We are currently looking for women spoken-word artists to work with us on our next project for 2014. We need women 18 and older to be a part of a collaborative project. Are you interested or know of anyone that may be a good fit for our work? Send them our way. They can email us at mainedramapro@gmail.com for more info!
We're excited about it and think you should be too!

We're Back!

Sorry guys, I've been a bit MIA for a while...not a good look.  But just because I haven't been posting a lot lately, we have definitely been busy. Since our last post, we held the premiere for Unheard the Film.  Too exciting.  While there were a bit of bumps and hiccups along the way, it was such an amazing experience.  Check out the recap video below:

Since then we have been pushing Unheard and trying to get it submitted into various film festivals.  We got such rave reviews after the premiere and we know that we have a huge success story on our hand...we know that we are going to help a lot of people.  So, don't stop talking about it! We haven't.

Stay tuned...this is only the beginning.
