Coming in 2014, Point…Blank…Period! is a riveting compilation of spoken word, monologues, and short scenes centered around a woman’s period!  That’s right…that monthly visitor that we can’t live with but can’t live without.   This production will look at various women’s love/hate relationship with that life-giving function that we so desperately need. Whether you’re a man or woman, this promises to be a funny and insightful look at ‘Aunt Flow.’

Currently, we are in the midst of fundraising to make sure that you get to seePoint..Blank…Period! next year.  Our goal is to raise $5,000 by February 1, 2014.  You can help us reach our goal by clicking on the donate button below. You are the reason we can continue to bring you great productions!  Won't you get into the giving spirit this holiday season?!

FEATURED EMERGING
ARTIST OF THE MONTH
Adriene Brathwaite, a native of Maryland, realized her love for theatre since the age of five, taking any opportunity she could to perform. A graduate of Suitland High School for the Performing Arts, Adriene soon went on to receive a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre and Rhetoric from the University of Maryland, College Park.

At Maryland, Adriene performed in such shows as The Illusion; To Be Young, Gifted and Black; The Colored Museum, and more. She has participated in The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center’s August Wilson staged reading. Adriene not only has performed in various Maryland productions but also developed an interest in dramaturgy.

Adriene currently lives in New York City where she continues to pursue her dream. She became an apprentice at The Barrow Group Theatre. Under the direction on Seth Barrish and Lee Brock she acquired invaluable information that has truly enhanced the way she approaches acting. Adriene later joined The Flea Theatre’s prestigious resident acting company, the Bats, where she worked with such actors as David Hyde Pierce and Peter Gerety.

Adriene is currently writing and producing a web series which will debut in 2014 as well as various theatre projects. She is also obtaining her certification in Image Consulting at FIT. Follow her journey by checking out her website at www.adrienebrathwaite.com.
